Volunteer Food Distribution - November 17, 2024 Smith Center-Orlando
Are you looking for a family friendly volunteer opportunity? What about a volunteer opportunity that is a fantastic group service event? He Got Up! has the answer!! We stage and deliver over 14,000 items of nonperishable goods, like canned vegetables, spaghetti, noodles, soup, canned fruit and other items into the trunks of hundreds cars to feed families. For this event our goal is to deliver items to provide a Thanksgiving meal for those being served.
We generally us an assembly line with 10-12 product stations, staffed with at least 2 people per station. We will need people to do the following jobs: Open boxes; organize delivery stations, distribute products to individuals who drive through the event; dispose of boxes; stack pallets, clean up.
There is something for the oldest to the youngest volunteer to do!
The Program Director will sign off on community service hours served as requested.

A continental breakfast, lunch and snacks will be served.
